We are currently seeking applicants for:

Architect Intern

DUTIES: Analyze building codes, covenants, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs. Prepare detailed computer-generated drawings and renderings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by architect. Coordinate architectural services and products with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering and LEED consultants. Visit job sites to compile measurements as necessary. Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and determine a method of representation in order to graphically represent building plans. Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of draftspersons, technicians, and others. Represent architect on construction site, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications and advising on design corrections, under licensed architect’s supervision.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture and 2 years experience required. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, REVIT, SKETCH-UP 3D, Photoshop, ARCHI-OFFICE and In Design; full computer literacy, including ability to merge various program files and third-party data seamlessly using REVIT Structural and REVIT Mechanical (MEP). Must have CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION on-site experience, the ability to work safely in an active construction environment while reviewing construction per drawings. Applicant must be able to generate accurate as-built drawings. Must be able to estimate and schedule projects. Experience must include sustainable and green architectural projects.
